I oppose bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones. Our ecosystems deserve better than to be destroyed to deepen pockets. If the concern is not enough housing for the rapidly increasing population (thanks to mass immigration), use some of the many uninhabited buildings across Ontario. Better yet, utilize land that has been vacant and falling apart because it’s rotting away! Leave our forestry and waterways alone. Ontario as we know it would be nothing without our vast ecosystems.
