I oppose Bill 5. It undermines essential environmental protections and threatens the survival of endangered species in Ontario. This legislation favors industrial shortcuts at the expense of our natural heritage and weakens the rules meant to safeguard our ecosystems. I strongly reject any attempts to override existing laws, especially in designated special economic zones, where environmental oversight is most at risk. Ontario needs stronger, not weaker, protections for our environment and wildlife.
