I oppose bill 5. I don't think that just submitted a permit and not wait for approval is a good idea. This puts too much hope on the good faith of developers. I do not trust them to follow the rules that don't benefit them making money. What are the consequences if they are found breaking this after the fact when I assume the damage is already done. I assume just a slap on the wrist.

I also believe that the government being able to add and remove animals from the endangered list as they choose is a slippery slope. You have a independent team on this for a reason.

Please no more short cuts to industry. We need to build in harmony with nature. What would actually fix the housing problem is stopping rentals being bought up by foreign players and caping real estate agents from continually artificially raising the prices. Also focusing on building more town homes apartments ect than the McMansions I'm sure would be build with this change.
