I am strongly opposed to Bill 5. It is a threat to our fragile environment when we need more stringent oversight and action, not less. Climate change and the ongoing destruction of our environment is not a threat but a reality. The Government needs to take more action to protect our environment not less. Please work with environmental experts and indigenous leaders to come up with a piece of legislation that provides greater protection and oversight. With wild fires currently raging in our country your proposed changes make me seriously worry for the future of our country. Please take some leadership in this area and propose amendments that protect the environment not make the situation worse.
