this is an absolutely horrible idea. while I understand that housing and infrastructure are critical and we are in a bit of a crisis, doing irreversible damage to the environment and remove CRUCIAL protections for wildlife and endangered species is absolutely HORIFIC. it's poor policy making if you cannot come up with a better solution that doesn't infringe upon the existence of numerous species and the protection of our environment. this is laughable to even propose, let alone bring to the table for serious consideration. I deeply implore every MPP and Premier Ford to reconsider this and think more critically and long term when introducing these types of proposals.
