I completely and entirely oppose this bill. I consider it unnecessary, especially taking into account the climate crisis we’re currently in the midst of. Many recent developments have accelerated or notably impacted climate change, including generative ai and Trumps presidency taking various steps to continuously harm the environment. In my opinion, there’s no reason we need to be contributing to this when there’s various other things the government should be focusing on, such as improving healthcare, education, and housing in ways that substantially hold promise. Repealing acts that protect the environment shouldn’t be on the list of priorities, let alone this high up.
