As a resident of Ontario, this proposed bill 5 is absolutely horrendous. Not only does Ontario have plenty of empty housing being hoarded by landlords in attempts to turn a profit, but the proposed bill will solely benefit Ford himself because he can sell off the land in the Green Belt to developers, as he tried to do a couple of years ago. In an ecological crisis like the one we're in now, urban expansion is not the solution, but conservation efforts are the answer.

Doug Ford is acting solely for his own greed, without any consideration for the irreparable damage he's lobbying for. He is only considering immediate financial gain, when his actions in the long term would spell out environmental disaster and the furthering of climate change.
