PLEASE do not change the original act. The preservation and stewardship that this act protects and supports is integral for Ontario species protection and habitat support. I have spent 26 years advocating for species at risk in Ontario as a born and raised resident. There are far more laws and acts the government should be worried about over environmental amendments or modifications. Consider looking into the housing shortage, supporting engineering and rail infrastructure expansion for job creation or support of indigenous leaders and voices within the amendments of such laws and acts.
