Bill 5 represents a concerning rollback of critical environmental safeguards in Ontario. By reducing protections for endangered species and wetlands, we're not only jeopardizing the survival of vulnerable wildlife but also undermining the health of our ecosystems. Wetlands, in particular, play a vital role in flood control, water purification, and carbon sequestration.
