I oppose bill 5. I want stronger protections for endangered species, and to protect existing habitats and protected areas more strongly. I oppose shortcuts to industry development with no well advertised public oversight. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.
We don't need or want more urban sprawl, we should be intensifying the areas where we already have development, while maintaining protected lands, and working towards stricter laws and regulations to protect native species, and our environment.
