I understand the need for sustainable and economic growth but this new proposal is absurd. If proponents can begin projects immediately after registering and don’t have to wait for approved permits then why have permits for literally anything else? Why do I have to pay the city a twice annual parking permit to park my car on my street in front of my house? Why does anyone need a permit to camp at Ontario parks? Why are there rules and bilaws? I don’t support this. Protect the endangered species and wait for proper approvals and permits.
