This proposal is preposterous! How can this even be considered? Our natural environment and ecosystems are essential to our survival, it's irrefutable. The planet is already collapsing due to environmental degradation, we need to be doing everything we can to protect the natural ecosystems if we want to mitigate the increasing onslaught of extreme weather events. Are there no environmental scientists or indigenous communities being consulted? Is everyone in government a greedy short-sighted anti-intellectual? Absolutely shocking and horrifying to see this even be considered by the so called leaders of this government. Wake up!
