This is a terrible idea! Developers would be able to begin an activity right after registering? So if there is an environmental impact or a species that needs protection, you’re going with an “oops they’ve already started” approach? Of course we need new housing, but destroying the ecosystems in Canada is not the way to go. The USA is already destroying their natural parks due to Trumps disregard for environmental protections, we do not want Canada to follow the same path. I do not support this policy at all.
