Please reconsider. There is a reason for oversight. Private companies are motivated by profit and will not protect nature or the citizens of Ontario. The proposed law will be used by politicians to say it's required to expedite housing development but we all know there are numerous properties within the GTA already reviewed and zoned for housing. This is dangerous to suspend environmental protections to line the pockets of developers at the expense of our children and grandchildren, when other options are available.
