I oppose bill 5. Cutting environmental protections for uncontrolled economic development is wrong. Each project should have scientific oversight to determine the environmental impact and whether appropriate protection measures are in place. Having an overarching law that dismisses any need for oversight is wrong. We must protect the environment and our native species.
