In essence you want a short cut for developers to override what they consider an obstacle. Already many species are at risk and you and the developers are focused on profit and speed, not conservation.

Conservation is a part of your responsibility and duty. Once habitats are gone it's almost impossible to restore. Once a species is extinct it is impossible to bring it back.

If your complaint is truly about a problem with the bureaucratic system, put the effort into fixing the system not ways to avoid responsibility.

Your government failed and lied about the Greenbelt (which is still under investigation.) Your actions benefited a small select group at the expense of citizens of this province. Here again with this legislation the changes you want to employ will only benefit a few.
