This is a terrible idea. Have we not learned that environmental protections are invaluable? Climate change is an increasingly pressing issue each year. We cannot keep messing up our ecosystems. These proposed changes carry risks of reduced ecological protections and diminished transparency due to increased ministerial discretion and narrower habitat definitions.
