I did not agree with this…

I did not agree with this bill as it takes away protections for our environment and the creatures that rely upon it. It is awful that as a government provincially, we would decide to afford private corporations easier access to land at the cost of our environment. We need to use the existing available land near existing infrastructure in Ontario because it isn’t lacking. Just because it’s convenient for the corporations doesn’t mean our government set the environment aside to benefit developers who advocate for changes like this because it’s cheaper for them. Our government should is responsible for the health of its people and the natural world, including plants and animal life in our province it is not our government’s role to give up our environment.
