I oppose Bill 5. This bill will negate the current structure put in place to protect the biodiversity and species that call Ontario home. I want strong environmentall protections.
I oppose short cuts for industry and I oppose industries having free rein to act before careful consideration on the impact of infrastructure in an area. You CANNOT replant a 100 year old tree. You cannot bulldoze over protected areas without major ecological harm taking place in the name of more housing and transit. Add more housing and transit, but do it in accordance to a plan that has the future in mind for the people living in that future.
