I am against Bill 5. I think it is short sighted, the will of a small representation of Ontario and another example of modern colonialism. We are in an environmental crisis and we are the caregivers of our land and all of the creatures that call it home. I believe that the best course of action would be to co-create a solution that includes the First Nations and we would be lucky to learn from them and their way of being. To devalue the importance of natural habitat and the sensitive ecosystems that support so many in known and unknown ways. A strong will is a wonderful gift to have but only if the mind isn’t single minded and if the heart isnt closed to the highest good and greatest interest of all in the present and the future.
