I am strongly opposed to Bill 5. I believe that there should be stronger environmental protections. We can not sacrifice our green spaces, allow the destruction of wildlife habitats, or the contamination of our waterways just so some developers can get richer. It is short sited and only serves corporations and development companies. Due diligence must be taken to understand the environmental impacts on new developments. No short cuts or back room deals. The well being of our province can not be sacrificed for the egos of our politicians.
