I am writing to express my deep concern regarding Bill 5. This proposed legislation fails to adequately protect the environment and threatens the survival of vulnerable species. At a time when biodiversity loss and climate change are escalating, we need stronger—not weaker—protections for our ecosystems.
Bill 5 undermines essential safeguards and prioritizes short-term interests over long-term sustainability. I urge decision-makers to reconsider this proposal and work toward legislation that genuinely protects our natural heritage for future generations.
Our environment and the species that depend on it cannot speak for themselves. We must be their voice.
