Hearing about bill 5 is astounding. I vehemently oppose bill 5. Canada is set apart from the states for a few reason and the importance of green belt zones and our respect to the environment is one of those defining reasons. In a time of growing right wing politics it is so important for public’s input, therefore I oppose shortcuts to company’s and development projects. As a graduate from uofts environmental program i oppose removal of protection for endangered species and rezoning important designated land for environmental protection and conservation reasons. These types of policies have serious implications on not only the climate but also the political trajectory of a country and I urge you to reconsider such an awful bill
