The reduction of the species…

The reduction of the species at risk protection legislation proposed by the government is saddening and dangerous. As an ecology PhD student I can see how the disregard of our ecosystems will cause not only irreparable ecological damage, but also an intense loss of ecosystem services. It is a loss of progress and the opposite direction that our province should be taken especially in the light of global events considering environmental protection.
