I strongly oppose Bill 5 and believe that environmental protections should never be sacrificed for economic gains.
As demonstrated by our neighbours to the south, it’s a dangerous thing when a government (such as the current Ontario government) wishes to exempt itself from having to comply with, in this case, provincial and municipal laws.
Rather than work in transparency and openness, Mr. Ford wants to make special zones and strip away important environmental protections. I do not agree with his approach.
