I oppose Bill 5. We need strong environmental protections that hold corporations and developers accountable to the land and to the public. There needs to be significant transparency, public oversight, and a necessary approval from numerous community leaders to decide if the project benefits the land and the people. Exploitation of the land for wealth needs to stop.
