I am not in favor of changing the environmental protections currently in place. The current protections are the basics needed to protect our environment from careless environmental destruction based solely on development being rushed. We can more forward with most development while taking care of the environment and the creatures living in it. This especially goes for the designated special developmental areas where even less protections will be afforded to the environment and the people living around it. Please do not strip away the protections in place currently that have been built up over centuries by many previous governments and supported by the citizens of this province. The citizens are not in favour of this. Development can still happen while not destroying everything in its path.
