I am completely opposed to Bill 5. I studied geology and earth sciences and have an HBSc in Geology. I know that for our long-term well-being, we need to prioritize ecological protection in order to mitigate the impacts of the current and ongoing climate destabilization. The cost benefit analysis must account for the true value of protected environments in Ontario, which far surpasses whatever economic growth Doug Ford is trying to claim here.
