Hello, I have a few words to say on this matter.
I strongly oppose Bill 5. We need stronger environmental protections, especially when it comes to the protection of endangered species. We should not be overriding the law in special economic zones. I understand the process for obtaining permits is slow, and yes we need more housing and transit, but the environment is just as/ if not more important. If we slack and take a more careless approach on this, it could have devastating consequences. I am proud that Canada and Ontario has such vast and beautiful green space, it needs to be kept that way and protected until the end of time. Bill 5 should NOT be passed.
