I strongly disagree with the proposed legislation "Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025". I do not agree that environmental concerns should be sacrificed for the benefit of a few developers, that's called crony capitalism.
The proposal's claims of "balance" are barely-disguised propaganda that are not informed by any review of facts. I believe we need more legislation to protect the environment against the destruction in myriad ways in the name of "progress" or "the economy" that are currently risking our future.
