You cannot construct on land that is not yours, and you cannot take away what natural resources we have. Canada is known for our nature and variety of birds and other wildlife. To willingly destroy it all in the name of building apartments, doesn't make sense. How about inside, changing corrupt loopholes that allow people like Shmuel Farhi to own countless buildings thar stay vacant for decades. He collects supplemental money from the government to keep them empty. Instead, force these "landlords" to either sell the property or turn it into apartments.
