This is a frightening…

This is a frightening proposal that must be denied. Ontario cannot allow any more damage to our ecosystem and environment, and this proposal will do permanent, irreparable damage to our wildlife, our province, and our future, because humans rely on a healthy ecosystem even if there are greedy developers with politicians in their pockets who can’t see that. They won’t have to live in the devastation they’re creating while they profit from selling off our planet and our future.
Canada cannot relent on protecting what’s left of our nature, because every single habitat left is unique, and we can’t just shrug and say “there are still plenty of trees!” Ontario has a diverse wildlife in both flora and fauna that can only thrive where their current ecosystem exists. The species that need the Canadian Shield aren’t the same as the species that need the green belt.

I am horrified that this proposal is even being considered. Endangered species need our protection, for crying out loud! This is despicable, disgusting behaviour by a body charged with CARING for our province, including the nature that supports us. It is absolutely untenable to do anything less than fully support protecting our endangered species, and I demand that this proposal be denied and terms set to prevent any further attempts to weaken, pause, remove or suspend this act.
