I strongly oppose Bill 5 and the proposed changes to the endangered species act. I oppose these exceptions and 'special' zones that prioritize short term economics over sustainable land use, and disregard protection of our native wildlife and nature. I oppose this lack of oversight and the choice to sacrifice the opinions of experts, as well as the lives, habitats, and migration paths of Ontario's wildlife in order to fast track construction and other project. I oppose the proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act, 2007 and to the proposal for the Species Conservation Act, 2025.
