While economic development within our province is important, so is safe guarding the unique and globally rare ecosystems and species that call Ontario home. These timely steps are in place to ensure adequate thought and consideration of the effects that development has on Ontario’s flora and fauna. Our nature is just as valuable, if not more, than all the money that development brings. As a proud Ontarian, a life-long naturalist, and science researcher - repealing this Act is a change that I cannot support.
