I oppose this bill and the changes the Ontario government seeks to push through with it. The current approach to protecting our endangered species and habitats was implemented to ensure their survival. This bill is dangerous and should not move forward. The laws protecting endangered species and rules around where you can develop are in place for a reason. This government's attempt to change that because it's "complicated, and takes too long..." is undemocratic and puts too much power in the hands of the few.
