While I understand Doug Ford's frustration with the boundaries regarding environmental impact preventing him from being able to move ahead with the proposed Highway 413 that may improve private transit for the cities & communities to the immediate northwest of Toronto, I have some concerns.
- It is far cheaper to take preventative measures instead of corrective measures, in the situation where the impact of the highway is higher than initially estimated.
- Various emissions (general car emissions, various particulates from rubber tires & other things) are nebulous, but can also be quite impactful.
