I am writing to express deep concern about Bill 5 and your government’s continued efforts to dismantle Ontario’s environmental safeguards. This proposal and Bill 5 have the potential to create huge environmental and economic problems down the line because of the removal of safeguards and consultation. I do not want my children to have to deal with, clean up, and be affected by problems that could have been avoided with diligent and thoughtful consultation. Ruining the environment to build fast creates more problems that it solves. Stop this action and stop Bill 5.
