I am deeply concerned about…

I am deeply concerned about Bill 5. I am a lifelong Ontario resident and the mother of two children. I am deeply worried about environmental destruction leading to an uncertain future for myself and my family. After reading about this bill, it appears to me that it has been created to allow developers to sidestep any provincial law in handpicked zones—threatening nature, Indigenous rights, and democracy itself. This is unprecedented and undemocratic. Ontario is not for sale. Please do not follow in the footsteps of the Trump presidency- reducing environmental protections to ineffectual lows and jeopardizing all of our futures.

Please do not pass Bill 5.
