As a citizen of Ontario, I strongly oppose Bill 5. I believe that there should be stronger protections for at-risk and endangered species. There should be a greater respect for treatied lands and all levels of government need to abide to free, prior, informed consent in addition to robust environmental impact assessments. I strongly oppose industry shortcuts without meaningful public consultation. Lastly, I strongly oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.
