Regarding 025-0380:
I am submitting my formal disapproval of this new plan to reduce protection for species at risk. Projects should not be immediately approved upon registering, but evaluated accordingly prior to approval. We should be maintaining the highest level of protection for species at risk in the country in Ontario, given that we have the highest density of human population. I agree that economic propsperity and housing and commerial activbiies are also important for thriving Ontario, but we need to have due process for environmental protections so that we don't lose the very essence of what makes Ontario (and Canada) great: our clean waters, blue skies, and habitat connectivity for hundreds of wildlife.
