Removing environmental protections anywhere across Canada for economic gain is short sighted and idiotic in the face of our current climate emergency. We must ensure MORE protection for the land and environment we share. Any economic growth must happen with the environment and indigenous people taking the lead. We can grow economically without causing harm. There should only be changes to ensure stronger protections of our remaining nature.
