This bill needs to be stopped! Not only is this undemocratic and destructive to our environment/native species, the Ford government is doing this under the guise of protecting us from the on going trade war, using this crisis to take away our democratic rights as we have seen many times before. We have seen this provincial government mired in corruption from the Greenbelt scandal to the Therme Spa scam, schemes that aim to enrich Premier Ford, developers, and private corporations; this proposed legislation is no different. BILL 5 will further entrench the corruption at the detriment of the peoples' health and quality of life. The Earth's climate is collapsing and we have little to no action on mitigating it the endangered species act is a tool to help Ontarians to live with nature rather than control it. We need to build infrastructure and housing but this not the way to do it! Please kill Bill 5.
