I am strongly opposed to the proposed changes to the species at risk act. I feel very strongly about environmental protection in Ontario. The United Nations has put out a call to the world about the risks of decline in biodiversity. Just today an important article was published in science magazine about a 75% decline in birds. This is alarming! We are going in the wrong direction with this proposal. Ontario can well afford to play responsible role stewarding the vast lands in our province. This is terrible! I oppose the proposed changes
