I oppose Bill 5. I believe in strengthening protections for endangered species, not weakening them. I oppose any shortcuts that favour industry, including Bill 5. If we ruin our planet, past the point of salvageability, then the economy won’t matter when we can’t drink the water or breathe the air. We need to focus on protecting the planet more than building houses or satisfying the stakeholders of an economy that’s based on the premise of neverending growth.
