I have never submitted a comment before, but the proposed changes to the Environmental Acts are so alarming that I feel I must speak up.
The natural environment is the environment we all live in and need to keep healthy. Without protections in legislation, financial interests will be allowed to encroach on land, wild species and people. This is unhealthy for us all.
I urge cancellation of, or significant alteration to this proposed legislation.
Our health, and the health of our grandchildren depend on robust protections of the natural world.
