As an archaeologist this bill is not only risking my job but also (and most importantly) threatening to cause us to loose the ability to learn about our past while destroying that past so that there is no possible way to ever learn about it. For First Nations individuals this would be detrimental to their ongoing journey to uncover their past which (until recently) has been heavily overlooked and disregarded.
Please rethink this bill as it will have far reaching and historically bad consequences.
