As a person who works in the Environmental sector, an avid outdoors person, and person with children the changes proposed to the Endangered Species Act are very troubling.

Carolinian Forests in Ontario are severely threatened species biodiversity will certainly suffer. The Great Lakes/St. Lawrence forest region is also threatened.

The proposed changes seem to cater to a need for mineral extraction and development more than a concern for any Environmental protection whatsoever. We need more protection, not less.
