The current US president will be long out of office before any mine is operational in the Ring of Fire.
There is more to animals' habitats than the den or tree in which they live. If the forest or grassland around that den is destroyed---then what?
A project can start as soon as it is registered online? Really?
Remove harrassment from the new species act? Really?
Don't bother with the federal endangered species listings?
This just seems to be more of the same that was railed against a few years ago with the Green Belt fiasco.
Ontario is populated by many species, and we humans should remember that as our resources and fellow animals and birds go, so go we.
