While I agree that we need faster processes to allow Ontario to ease the housing shortage, i do not agree that the government should have the ability to determine what is and is not a threatened species of plant, animal or fish. We need experts who are not associated with government and have no financial or political stake in the outcome of a study. We can be good stewards of our lands and still address the pressing issues that confront voters.
