This proposals set out in schedules 2 and 10 of this bill are deeply distressing as they will dismantle our existing protections for wildlife and protection for bio-diversity in our province. I implore the government to reconsider its plans for the Endangered Species Act. Establishing oversight through the ESA was done for a reason, relying on scientific evidence to guide our protection for wildlife and their habitat were done for a reason, please don't backtrack on it now. There are other mechanisms to pursue economic growth and well being of Ontarians. It does not need to be at the expense of the other species we share this land with.
